Battle potions are brewed through the same rune-matching alchemy system as every other potion, but the combat tier increases the rune cost and ingredient complexity with each level. Brewing rules and station requirements are covered in the Alchemy guide.
More context
Alchemy Flasks and Fuel are required for every brew. Formulas must be discovered and recorded in the Folio. The Laboratory's ingredient slot limit depends on its tier: I holds 2, II holds 3.

Higher tiers and early-game Red
Higher-tier healing and damage potions are gated by Anatomy and Alchemy Technologies in the tech tree. Red is the early bottleneck for battle potions because many damage-rune ingredient sources are also needed for general healing. The best early sources are: Copper Nuggets — 2 Red + 1 Green; Stones — 2 Red.
