The late game opens after Heart of the Swamp and introduces a new set of interlocking systems. Once the main story is past the swamp chapter, you gain access to Portal Fragments (seven total) that are installed at the Astrologer's Tower, full Factory production with conveyor lines and Carousels and a Factory rating system, the Royal Foundry accessed through a chain of battles, the Sewers for exploration, and the Inquisition Base which yields the Wrath fragment. The Palace approach is unlocked after enough fragments and gifts are gathered.

Final Battle and ending
The Final Battle requires a minimum total power of 144 spread across four squads and is initiated after Davy's briefing and the route-specific help sequence. To reach the final ending, you must win the Final Battle, attend the Palace meeting where Greed (the 7th fragment) is awarded, return to the Astrologer's Tower to insert Greed, complete the wishes scene, and then make the Go or Stay choice — simply winning the battle is not the final quest completion.
Late-game Factory chains and reputation
The late-game Factory chains also feed reputation: Man of Steel plus Factory Tour adds 20 Jack reputation (taking him from 60 to 80, the threshold for the Pride fragment). The Red Eye route itself has two branches — return the eye via a special sermon plus 90-reputation help requests, or keep the eye via the attic route with Dark talent requests and 100-reputation help requests — and each branch offers a later change-of-mind option.
